Terms

• The call is open to researchers employed at Swedish universities, colleges, and research institutes at the time of application.
• For the call Improved Quality of Life for the Elderly, researchers employed by Regions are also welcome to apply.
• The principal applicant must hold a Swedish doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree at the time of application, or be an associate professor/professor on artistic basis.
• Researchers who currently receive funding from the foundation and have not yet submitted their final report may not apply as principal applicants.
• Researchers may only act as principal applicant for one project but may participate as coapplicants on additional projects.
• The foundation funds projectrelated costs and personnel costs for research and teaching staff.
• The foundation also funds projectrelated costs such as travel grants, publication fees, and certain equipment for participants outside academia, provided that the application clearly demonstrates that these costs are essential for the implementation of the project.
• The foundation allows overhead costs, including rent, up to a maximum of 35% based on the project’s salary costs.
• Grants may be awarded for one, two, or a maximum of three years.
• The foundation has no maximum grant amount.
